As a kid, growing up, I loved drawing superheroes.  I got pretty good, but not good enough to make comic books.  Marvel turned me down over and over.  But still, the concept of art and making art was ingrained in me.  I guess since they didn't choose me to be one of their artists, I had to use other methods to get by in life.  So, I chose to be someone that could and would learn everything and anything – from sales to science to art and beyond.  I was a student of life, always trying to learn something I didn't know.  I ended up working for Coca-Cola for 13 years, developing the skills for sales and how to run a small business.
Starting out as a videographer as a side-hustle to my corporate job, the seed for my own company grew and I became a portrait photographer.  I then learned another way to make a living with a camera, and that was Fine Art.  As I grew in the photography industry, I took many senior portraits as a majority of my work, along with family portraits and wedding photography.  Eventually, headshots and commercial work grew as well, but my passion was mainly for art and senior portraits.  Through my passion to learn, I became a master of light for my portraits, and I've used many drones over the years to help me find the best angles and dramatic looks for my artwork.

Over the years, I have taken so many pictures of family, people, and places that will last through history as a timestamp of who we are.  Those people and I can look back at these images and remember the good times and memories attached to them.  I doubt that I will ever retire, because this is a passion that continues to grow.
My dream is still to, one day, make my own comic book, and the movies that would follow.  As I continue to make that dream a reality, I will always enjoy my passion for making others happy with my images and art.
